Recently, Bhandup Police managed to nab a gang who used to victimise people by hypnotising them and later, looting them. On Sunday, the police officers managed to arrest the gang of three members from Bhandup. The leader of the gang has been identified as Naresh aka Narya Vijaykumar Jaiswal (37) and has been sentenced to police custody.

The victim, Ramesh Shetty is a Sion-based businessman and had arrived at Bhandup in 2017 for some work. That's when Naresh and his gang initiated a conversation with Shetty and eventually, took him to an isolated place. However, Shetty claimed that after that, he was unable to recollect what happened.

Three of them looted Shetty and took two of his rings, a necklace, and his various other ornaments. Later, they fled the scene but as soon as Shetty regained his senses, he approached Bhandup police to file his complaint.

Accordingly, the police took help of the CCTV cameras and arrested Ramesh Jaiswal and Ashok Bhakre on November 1, 2017. Only, Naresh had been absconding since then but on January 20, the police finally managed to track him down and arrest him.
