A family of four committed suicide at Bandra’s Government Colony by consuming poison. The incident happened on Saturday. It is believed that the family committed suicide after being fed up with their financial condition. Bandra police are investigating the matter for more clues.


Who Committed Suicide?

Around 1:00 pm, Kherwadi police discovered Rajesh Bhingare (45), his wife Ashwini, two children, Tushar (23) and Gaurang (19), unconscious at their residence. Kherwadi police took them to Sion Hospital where doctors declared them dead on arrival.

Bhingare was associated with the Ration Office Department, Mantralaya. 


Suicide Note

Kherwadi police found a suicide note in which he mentioned the reason of poverty for their suicide. Meanwhile, their dead bodies have been sent for a post-mortem.


One More Family Committed Suicide

One such family ended their lives by hanging themselves at Cuff Parade’s Fisherman Colony on Thursday night. It is believed that the said family killed themselves because of their poor financial condition.
