After eight people were injured in a stampede at Mithibai College during a show on Thursday, the college authorities formed a three-member committee to probe the incident. The injured students were rushed to the Cooper Hospital in Juhu. However, those who faced minor injuries were discharged from the hospital after the treatment.
Among the injured, one student suffering from collarbone fracture was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The college has agreed to pay for the treatment of the student and other injured pupils.

Every year, Mithibai College organises this fest and several colleges participate in the same. This year, the crowd was outnumbered which caused suffocation and later stampede among the students.
