The Nigerian youth – who was in police custody in a fake passport case – in a bid to escape the police, jumped from the flyover and died on Wednesday morning.
Izbele Imaica Bonaventure (34) is the name of the dead Nigerian national. Sahar police have registered a case of accidental death and the investigation is underway.

Nigerian National Izbele Imaica Bonaventure was taken into custody on Wednesday who arrived in Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj airport with a fake passport. When the vehicle reached Unnat flyover, the Nigerian National jumped off thinking that he would land on the bus. However, he misjudged and landed on road by falling from 30 feet high. He was immediately taken to the hospital, however, he succumbed to his injuries.

Sahar police have informed the Nigerian embassy about his death and the investigation is underway.
