On Friday, an anonymous phone call informed the Central Railways that a bomb is placed at the Vitthalwadi Railway Station premises. However, as the authorities were alerted, they informed the police and no suspicious material was found.
Earlier, a letter had mentioned that there will be a bomb blast at one of the railway stations in Uttar Pradesh. As this happened, the security warnings were issued across all major cities in the country on Friday. Meanwhile, there was a phone call to the authorities about a bomb at Vitthalwadi station.

The police, however, while investigating found nothing and suspected that the anonymous caller must be spreading rumours. Now, the police are further investigating to find out the reality behind the whole issue.
