Zaira Wasim molestation case: Sachdeva is innocent, says a co-passenger

Accused Vikas Sachdeva was arrested under section 354 and was sent in police custody until December 13

Few days back, Dangal actress Zaira Wasim accused that a co-passenger named Vikas Sachdeva molested her in a flight. After the actress took the matter to social media, she received immense support, both from her fans and the police. Sachdeva was taken into custody and will be in remand till December 22. The hearing for the same will happen on  December 15.

However, bringing in more clarity and a sigh for Sachdeva is another co-passenger who was on the same flight. The anonymous traveller from the same Air Vistara flight said that accused was innocent. Although he did not know Sachdeva personally, he told Sahar Police officials he did not see him misbehaving with the actress.

In a statement given to Times Of India, the co-passenger said

I was seated in the same… class in which the actor and the suspect (Sachdeva) flew from Delhi. The suspect did not seem to have done anything apart from his act of keeping his legs on the armrest of the seat where the actor was seated. I saw Sachdeva doze off immediately after he settled in his seat after boarding the flight at Delhi. His fault was he kept his legs on the armrest, which was wrong. I did not see him misbehaving. He also apologized when the actor shouted at him when the flight landed at Mumbai airport and the matter was settled then.”
