The admission process for medical and dental courses in the state of Maharashtra has started from November 6.
Earlier, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had prescribed for the admissions to the undergraduate medical and dental seats in Maharashtra to begin from the same. As a result of the confusion over the application of the Maratha quota at the moment, the state had decided to ask students to only submit the documents at the time of registration in order for the verification to be conducted at the time of admission.
Down below is the schedule for the admission process:
According to sources, admission to 15 per cent reserved seats in colleges is done through the All India Quota. The state quality list will be announced after the admission list of this quota is released. Therefore, the students have been left feeling confused as it is not possible to decide whether to get admission from the All India Quota or the state quota. Moreover, the students have demanded that the state should announce the merit list before the All India Quota list.
