On March 12, Mumbai University declared the results for the Semester-I of the First Year Engineering exams which were conducted during November-December 2018. Out of the 23,364 students that registered for the exam, 22,963 students appeared for the exam. However, only 8,930 students succeeded in clearing the test which has resulted in a 39 per cent passing rate.
1,11,218 answer papers were submitted to Mumbai University for the Bachelor of Engineering First Year students. Accordingly, the answer sheets were examined by 1,162 teachers and a total of 30,665 the papers were moderated.
Meanwhile, the three-year Law examination results will be declared soon. 80 per cent of the Law stream Semester V papers have been examined. The University has directed the concerned examiners to speed up the paper-checking paper procedure.
