In the year 2019, there were plenty of interesting web-series that were launched. In fact this year the users were spoilt for choice and it became almost impossible to keep track of every good web series that was launched. Some good web series were not marketed well while there were a whole lot of web series that had a great buzz but did not live up to the expectations of users.
So as the year now comes to a close, we share with you five web series released this year that you must watch.
1) Family Man - Amazon Prime
City under attack, one man to the rescue. The plot does sound familiar but the storytelling of The Family Man and the brilliant performance makes it one of the must watch web series.
2) Kota Factory - TVF
The first thing to note about this series is that it is in Black andWhite. Yes, the first Indian web series available in Black and White. The story revolves around a boy fresh out of school, shifting to Kota to prep for competitive exams. What makes it a must-watch is the fact that it is so relatable to all age groups.
3) Delhi Crime - Netflix
Based on the much-hyped Nirbhaya rape case, Delhi Crime sheds light on how the investigation of the case was carried. A fair warning, this show is not for the weak at heart. Also a point worth noting is that Shefali Shah is brilliant in this webshow.
4) MoM- Mission over Mars -Alt Balaji/ Zee 5
While after seeing the movie with a similar concept, one would think that one has seen it all. However, we feel that this webseries was even better than the film. So we insist that you should not give this a skip, just because you have watched the movie.
5) Criminal Justice
If you like thrillers, this one is for you. Though the pace goes a tad bit slow in the middle of the series, but brilliant performances by Vikrant Massey, Jackie Shroff, Pankaj Tripathi and Anupriya Goenka. Vikrant Massey is just brilliant in this show.
