Air India Modern School fecilitates child actor Sunny Pawar

Eight-year –old actor Sunny Pawar was felicitated by his school, the Air India Modern School. 

Pawar was honoured with the Best Young Performer Film Award for ‘Lion’ by the school.

Present on this occasion was Regional Director of West Zone, Air India Modern School, Mukesh Bhatia. Pawar was honoured with the trophy and certificate by Vinod Hejmadi, Member and Director of Air India Modern School.  Pawar is a third standard student of the Air India Modern School.

Sunny Pawar, who played the role of Saru in the Hollywood film Lion, is a resident of Kalina and has always aspired to be an actor. The young star had rarely received encouragement from his parents who felt Bollywood was a glamorous world. But his dream came true after his selection for the Hollywood film and Sunny is now a known face, a clear example that grit and dreams can turn a a commoner into a celebrity.
