The Meteorological Department has predicted that moderate rainfall will continue in Mumbai for the next 48 hours. The Meteorological Department tweeted, “Mumbai has received moderate rainfall since yesterday afternoon as shown in the attached Mumbai radar image. It is likely to persist in the next 48 hours. In the last 21 hours there has been very heavy rain at some places and very heavy at some places.”

There was a lot of criticism of the Municipal Corporation due to the flooding of water everywhere in Mumbai during the first rains. In addition, heavy rain is predicted in Mumbai for the next four to five days from Wednesday. Therefore, Chahal has ordered all the concerned officials to be alert. Deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners and officers of the rainwater drainage department have been instructed to take special precautions.
