Mulund- VG Vaze College at Mulund has organised a five day programme for their students to create awareness on the laws for their rights. This five-day programme ended on Tuesday.
In this programme, girl students were given knowledge about their rights such as the laws against Dowry system, Domestic Violence, Child Marriage, Crime against women and many others.
To eradicate the caste system from society youth should support inter-caste marriages said in the speakers at this seminar.
Law experts Iyer and Dr Shanta shared information on women rights and also said that these types of initiatives will prove helpful for students and all school/ colleges must arrange such programmes where students can avail information about the legal aspects and their rights.
