Parel- Transgenders better known as Hijras in India are not like the counterparts elsewhere. Indians consider them sacred, they perform at the birth of young ones, weddings, etc. They make their livings by exchanging blessings for cash at traffic signals. Kinnar Maa samaj Sanstha trust was registered in 2014. Kinnar Maa celebrated their second anniversary on 20th September 2016. Kinnar maa fulfills every basic need of their community’s people. Giving them nutrition support , organizing health camps, awareness programme,etc.
