Ankit Dalvi’s second-half strike powered Milan Club to a close 1-0 win against Challengers FC in the third round Group-B league match of the third Borivali Premier Football League (BPFL), conducted by the Borivali Sports Foundation, under the auspices of the MDFA and played at the St. Francis D’Assisi High School ground, Borivali (West).
In an evenly contested encounter, the first half finished goalless. But, after switching ends, Milan Club had the better share of the exchanges and just after the hour, managed to open the scoring when Ankit with a clinical finish found the target to clinch their third successive win and the full three points. Milan are now comfortably placed at the top of the group with nine points.

Earlier, in another match of the same group, ND2 Soccer Starz had things much their own way to defeat Shelar FC by a comfortable 5-1 margin. The highlight of Soccer Starz victory was the fine hat-trick notched up by Dhuval Waghela while Pratik Shetty chipped in with a brace of goals. Prasad Sarang scored a late consolation goal for Shelar FC. With this their second win ND2 Soccer Starz are two points behind leaders Milan Club.
