Mumbai - Days are numbered for the adulterated milk, FDA (Food and Drugs association) has formulated the plan to combat milkmen selling adulterated milk.
FDA Commissioner Dr Harshdeep Kamble informed, " Consumers will be provided with milk testing kit, which will help them to know about the amount of water, detergent, starch or any such substances in the milk. Milk testing kit costs around Rs 3,000-4,000. However, this milk testing kit will be provided to consumers at a much cheaper rate up to Rs 400-500 and an individual can use it for three to four times. The kit was about to be introduced earlier but technical problems delayed it."
