Mumbai - Pharmacist have become the most important person, without them, blood bank and chemists can't provide blood and medicines. Central Drug Standard Control Organisation has proposed it mandatory to appoint pharmacists at medical shops and blood banks. Delhi Pharmacist Association's President Vinay Kumar Bharati told Mumbai Live," Person at medical shops used to provide medicines without the prescription, but this will not happen anymore, the association has made it mandatory. Similarly, soon blood banks too will need to have a pharmacist. The provision will be made compulsory at the time of applying for a new licence and licence will be suspended of those blood banks who do not comply with this provision. The proposal will be sent to the government for their approval."
