‘Basic Needs’ has launched a Blood Plasma Project, and collaborated with eight Rotaract and Rotary Clubs, various Blood Donation Organizations and Pharmaceutical Entities to create a database of COVID-19 recovered people who would like to voluntarily donate their plasma for a COVID-19 patient.

The demand for plasma exceeds the supply hence every eligible donor refusing to donate is yet another life lost to this pandemic.

The Plasma Pump is to address the shortage of blood plasma for COVID patients by::

(1) Connecting the blood donors and receivers personally

(2) Listing all the organizations which are involved in blood plasma donation

(3) Digital Campaign through Instagram Marketing, Collaborations with 8 Rotaracts/Rotary groups and pharmaceutical entities.

“A digital campaign where 25 of our team members from 8 Rotaract Clubs, various other blood organizations and pharmaceutical entities are helping us form a database link of interested volunteers,” said a co-founder at the Plasma Pulp, adding, “We aspire to be featured in your prestigious page in order to acquire some legitimacy, and at the end of the day- to serve humanity.”
