Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL) has launched Metro Rewards Phase II (Loyalty Programs) in which commuters can avail discounts and vouchers at various places by booking tickets online.
MMOPL, which is owned by Reliance, made this announcement on Tuesday, April 30 for the travellers to avail these offers from May 1 on the occasion of Maharashtra Day.
MMOPL has tied up with Kidzania, PVR Movies, Paytm, Cleartrip and Essel World where the commuters can avail offers at these places.

Till now, 17,000 people have registered for it and the number is expected to go up in the future.
Notably, Mumbai Metro Line 1 is operational from Versova to Ghatkopar and four more lines are under construction. In June 2006, then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh laid the foundation stone for the first phase of the Mumbai Metro project. Although construction work began in February 2008, a successful trial run was conducted in May 2013 and the system's first line entered into operation on June 8, 2014.
