Further, seven stations are to be constructed at Pandurang Wadi, Miragaon, Kashigaon, Sai Baba Nagar, Meditya Nagar, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Garden, and Subhash Chandra Bose Ground.

Authorities have faced multiple hurdles during Metro-related construction across Mumbai. Recently, the MMRDA delayed the construction of Metro lines 2A and 7 after the agency failed to acquire a car shed at Dahisar. The coronavirus pandemic was also cited as one of the reasons for the delay.
