U Mumba have bagged back to back victories at home after falling short in the first three games of Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, Mumbai leg.

After Haryana Steelers, U Mumba beat Jaipur Pink Panthers 36-32 on Thursday at Dome, NSCI SVP Stadium in Worli.

The last match in Mumbai wasn’t a very peaceful affair as many controversial decisions made this tie a heated affair. Both teams started with enthusiastic raids and equally leaky defenses as Pawan Kumar was the star raider in this period for Jaipur while Kashiling Adake was his U Mumba counterpart.
Jasvir Singh was aggressive towards the home team and Kashiling Adake responded in kind with his teammates by his side. It all came down to a climactic last five minutes. U Mumba had pulled away by then after inflicting an all out on the Pink Panthers. The final 60 seconds hence started with the score 32-32.

Mumba later pulled away with four points and added to their victory from the last game.

I don’t know how Jasvir didn’t get suspended earlier in the game,” Anup Kumar on Jasvir Singh’s aggression.

In other results, Telugu Titans beat Tamil Thalaivas 33-28.

U Mumba next play Bengal Warriors on September 6 in Kolkata.
