Since its first Travel Talks session in December 2018, Lonely Planet Magazine India has successfully conducted sessions in Hyderabad and Chennai, as well as at the Times Travel Show in Mumbai. The two-hour interactive sessions bring its readers and travel enthusiasts together to share travel experiences and smart travel tips and tricks.

The 5th edition of the travel talks was held at Kotak Mahindra Bank’s meeting lounge at BKC Mumbai. The panelists – Manu Kashyap, Director, Windmill Holidays (@windmillholidays); travel and lifestyle influencer Shifa Merchant (@SassyShifSays), and actor, model and travel influencer Maradona Rebello (@maradonarebello)  – engaged with Primrose Monteiro-D’Souza, editor of Lonely Planet Magazine India, to discuss Lonely Planet Magazine India’s October 2019 theme – Winter Travel – focussing on experiential journeys to Vermont, USA; Barcelona, Spain; Uganda; South West Australia; and winter road trips across India.

Talking about the same, Primrose Monteiro-D’Souza, said “We are thrilled to see how engaging and interactive the Lonely Planet Magazine India Travel Talks continue to be. They are conceived to afford us an effortless way to connect with the travel community that has followed the brand for over 100 issues. This Travel Talk was especially timed to help travel enthusiasts plan their winter getaways, and, as always, it gave us a chance to discuss Lonely Planet’s philosophy and commitment to inspire enthusiasts to explore every day.”

The panelists, and influencers in the audiences shared useful travel hacks and their experiences of winter travel with over 60 travel enthusiasts, who participated animatedly in the discussion.
