BMC budget 2019 LIVE Updates. Municipal Commissioner Ajoy Mehta will be presenting the BMC budget 2019 for Mumbai on February 4, 2019, Monday, along with other BMC officials. It is said that the BMC Budget 2019 may cross Rs 30,000 crore and will also include the education budget.
These are out of 225 flooding spots identified last year, 160 of which have been repaired.
BMC proposes to improve 370 Km of the road of which 106 Kms in concrete, 172 km in asphalt & resurfacing of 92 kms. Footpaths get Rs 100 crore while parking authority gets Rs 3 crore. Coldmix production get Rs 15.86 crore
No increase in the current tax
This project will help generate electricity from waste.
The construction of 14-km GMLR required about Rs 4000 crore. Last year, the civic body had made Rs 100 crore allocation.
