Just a week after Ed Sheeran's gig, Norwegian DJ KYGO took stage at MMRDA Grounds, giving the Mumbaikars another mystical experience.

With tickets for the concert starting at a mere ₹2,000, the artist lineup was something like  ARSH, Anish Sood, Frank Walker with KYGO headlining the Ola Sunburn Arena concert in Mumbai. The musician, who shot to fame after his mix of Ed Sheeran’s 'I See Fire' went viral, paid a homage of sorts by remixing the British singer’s latest chart-buster 'Shape Of You'. It was an EDM concert and that calls for bursts of fire, smoke, confetti, a bunch of fireworks and trippy animations on larger-than-life LED screens!

Along with 'Shape of You', KYGO also put his own spin on other popular tracks like Coldplay’s 'Something Just Like This', The Chainsmokers’ 'Don’t Let Me Down' and Gotye’s 'Somebody That I Used To Know'He even played a remixed version of 'Mi Gente'.  And remember the moment where he just randomly bid farewell without playing his biggest YouTube hit 'Firestone'? He did come around and played his special single which has 450+ million hits on YouTube! But, then again, how can any concert in India be complete without a desi track? And so KYGO did what every small and big DJ before him did: he played a desi number 'Mundiyan Tu Bach Ke Rahi', to which the Mumbaikars went crazy!

Now that you have a summary of the most sought-after musical gigs that took place in Mumbai in 2017, you can look ahead to the concerts coming up in 2018! Let's hope 2018 is even bigger on the musical front in Mumbai!

[Hint: Arijit Singh's concerts are coming up in March 2018 in Mumbai]
