In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government has announced transfers and appointments of seven Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers on Friday, February 12.

Following are the new appointments and transfers in the state:

1) S. Chockalingam has been appointed from the post of Jamabandi Commissioner and Director Land Records, Pune to the post of Director General of Yashada Pune.

2) Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar was transferred by the state government as Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Pune. Hardikar was in the post of Municipal Commissioner for the last four-year.

3) Rajesh Patil, Orissa cadre IAS officer who is from Jalgaon, has been posted as Municipal Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. He has replaced Shravan Hardikar.

4) Besides, Sheetal Ugale-Teli has been posted as director of textile in Nagpur and Prerna Deshbhratar, commissioner for persons with disabilities, Pune, has been posted as Wardha collector.

5) Prerna Deshbhratar has been transferred from the post of Commissioner, Disability Welfare, Pune to the post of District Collector of Wardha.

6) Anita Patil Indian Air Force Deputy Forest Conservator Land Records, Panvel has been appointed to the vacant post of Member Secretary, State Women's Commission, Mumbai.

7) N. K. Sudhanshu has been appointed to the post of Jamabandi Commissioner and Director Land Records Pune after joining the state government on central deputation. Sudhanshu has been posted in place of Chockalingam.

Moreover, last month, the state government had issued transfers of four IAS officers -- RS Jagtap, AL Jarhad, SR Chavan and Aman Mittal -- causing a minor administrative reshuffle in the state.
