Koshyari, who is the Governor of Maharashtra, assumed the additional charge as Goa Governor. President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday transferred Satya Patil Malik and appointed him as the Governor of Meghalaya. Malik served as the Goa Governor for less than a year.

During Koshyari’s oath ceremony as Goa Governor, Chief Minster Pramod Sawant along with Leader of Opposition (LoP) Digambar Kamat were present. The oath ceremony was held at Raj Bhavan in Panaji.
