Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday slammed the former ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) saying that they are arrogant and their game must be exposed.

Thackeray said that BJP is “narcissist” and they should “apply fevicol and sit on the seat of power”. The Shiv Sena further said that Ajit Pawar’s move to join hands with the BJP was a disrespect to the Constitution and people’s mandate. 

While addressing the media at YB Chavan along with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, Thackeray said that the BJP has carried out ‘fergical’ strike on Maharashtra and has betrayed the people. 

BJP is narcissist and their game must be exposed. BJP has carried out a ‘fegicle’ strike on Maharashtra and everyone knows what Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj did when betrayed and attacked from the back,” said Uddhav Thackeray in the presser. 

Uddhav Thackeray, who till Friday night was expected to become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, took a dig at the BJP saying, “Earlier, EVM khel was going on and now this is the new khel. I don’t think elections are required after this.”

When asked about his party’s MLAs, the Shiv Sena chief alleged that the BJP tried to break their MLAs but failed. “...let them try and poach Shiv Sena MLAs, Maharashtra will not stay asleep,” said Thackeray.

Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday morning took the oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister and returned to power for the second term. In a shocking move, NCP leader Ajit Pawar swore in as the Deputy Chief Minister at Raj Bhavan.

The oath ceremony was administered under Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. The President’s rule in Maharashtra which was revoked in the early morning around 5:50 AM.
