Blankets, foodgrains for the needy

Andheri – The Helping Hand organisation and BJP president of ward no. 62 Deepak Shah, distributed blankets and foodgrains to financilly challenged people and handicapped persons residing near the Gokhale bridge in Andheri recently.

MLA Ameet Satam had distributed similar items to 25 poor people on 15 August this year and the tradition has continued with poor and needy persons being given items of daily use in the first week of every month. Till now, 144 poor families have benefitted from this initiative, we learn.  Ameet Satam, Pritish Gandhi, Ravi Panicker, Sandip Shah, Sheela Shah, Krupa Shah and the Andheri Welfare Association extended their helping hand to this initiative, Deepak Shah told Mumbai Live.
