Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's interaction with Annada Damare (7) was a humorous one. In a viral video on social media, Damare can be seen asking Shinde to promise to take her to Guwahati during her Diwali vacation. To this, Shinde responded by saying yes and uttered that they will also visit a popular temple in Guwahati, Kamakhya Mandir.

According to reports, Damare met with Shinde on Sunday, July 17, evening at his Nandanvan Bungalow in Malabar Hill along with her father Saket Damare, who runs an advertising agency. She is a second-standard student from Ratnagiri who is reportedly popular for making videos wherein she asks questions to politicians.

During her minutes-long conversation with the CM, when she asked if he promises to take her to Guwahati for the upcoming Diwali vacation, laughter ensued in the entire room. Even Shinde could not stop smiling and assured that they will visit a temple. Additionally, he praised the girl by remarking that she is smart and appreciated her presence of mind.

Further, she also asked him if she can become the CM if she helps people. To this Shinde responded that yes why not and laughingly articulated that they would come out with a special reservation scheme for her. Moreover, she told Shinde that earlier she used to admire only Narendra Modi, but after watching Dharmveer, a Marathi movie based on the life of Anand Dighr, late Shiv Sena leader from Thane, she began admiring Shinde too. Shinde was under the wing of Dighe.

For those unversed, Shinde along with his rebel MLAs was residing at a hotel in Guwahati when he revolted against Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray
