Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s interview with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and Thackeray’s Gudi Padwa rally, in both the situations, Thackeray did not leave one chance to take a dig at Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). However, BJP MLA Ram Kadam, Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar did not spare Thackery either. Kadam tweeted that on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, Thackeray only entertained people.

The media in the country is free, just because it doesn't entertain MNS, he shouldn't get angry
Looks like he hasn't learned much from Pawar @ANI @timesofindia @TimesNow @republic
Whereas Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar disapproved Thackeray’s Modi-Mukt Bharat statement saying that Thackeray should look into his party as many corporators and leaders did ‘MNS-mukt’ and rest ran away. He added that people will not trust MNS ever again.
Along with this, he also mentioned the interview with NCP chief Sharad Pawar, criticising that initially Thackeray’s speech had late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray’s aura but after the interview, Thackeray’s speech sounds like more of Sharad Pawar.
