Mumbai – Shiv Sena MP from city, Arvind Sawant, has jumped into the fight of Maharashtra versus Karnataka as he wrote a letter to President Pranab Mukherjee. In his letter, Sawant said that Karnataka police are suppressing the voice of Marathi speaking people in Belgaum. The Marathi protestors are booked under sedition charges and it should be revoked, demanded Sawant in his letter. It is to be mentioned here the Karnataka police had cane charged Marathi speaking protestors a few days ago in Belgaum.
