While inauguration a super-speciality hospital on Monday, the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis asserted that Maharashtra doesn’t have a history of a stable chief minister. Fadnavis spoke at the inauguration ceremony of Sushrusha Hospital in Vikhroli.

While inaugurating the hospital, Chief Minister said that “I laid the foundation stone for the hospital three years ago and I am inauguration it. Seems like either the hospital was made in a record time or I survived for a long period as Chief Minister. In Maharashtra, CMs do not survive in the chair for long.”

Ahead of Maharashtra elections and the ongoing political environment in the state, the CM’s statements highlight the insecurities of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Shiv Sena has already sidelined the BJP in the Palghar Lok Sabha bypolls. Also, with Shiv Sena’s strong stand to not support BJP in the upcoming election next year BJP’s insecurities in the electoral scenario are bound to be visible.
