In a press conference after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s foundation day function, BJP President Amit Shah was confident that Shiv Sena would form an alliance with them in the upcoming elections next year. However, Shiv Sena has hit hard on BJP’s face by denying its willingness to form an alliance with them.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Monday said that BJP is trying to persuade Shiv Sena to form an alliance but “the alliance will never happen.” This comes after talks about the meeting of State Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.

As the Maharashtra elections are lined up next year, BJP’s Mungantiwar tried to meet Uddhav Thackeray on Monday and but the meeting was postponed more than once. However, in reality, Thackeray refuses to give time to the BJP leader. Earlier, Uddhav Thackeray challenged Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to open his mind.
