Co-op banks hold protest against RBI

CST – A grand morcha of co-operative societies was organised by the Maharashtra State Co-operative Societies Federation to oppose the decision of the Reserve Bank of India regarding note ban acceptance at co-operative banks. The ruling and opposition party members were seen on the dais of this morcha which was held at Azad nagar ground in the city on Thursday. The RBI had banned co-operative banks from accepting the demonetised currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.
