• Congress to dedicate a wall in their new office which is being constructed in Delhi. To write the names of those party workers who were killed while working for the party.
• Talking to media, Rahul said that you should speak about the corruption under BJP rule. We understand that the media houses and their owners are under pressure from the BJP but I believe that they will start speaking for what is right before the upcoming elections.
• If they (RSS, BJP) attack and aggravate, Congress’ workers should spread the word of love and decency.
• We want our party workers to be powerful. You fight against BJP’s lies and so we understand your condition. This is your party and not only of the leaders. You hold the most important place in the party. In this ideological war, you understand it the best. Like Mumbai unites people, Congress shall does the same.
• At Delhi, I said that the one who is a congress party worker, will be respected. Without your consent and views, no major decision will be taken and has never been taken.
• PM has broken our as well as the youth and the farmers' trust, who are suffering likewise because the youth is unemployed and the farmers are under stress.
• Speaking on Vajpayee’s condition in politics and BJP, he said that Vajpayee worked for the country and I respect him for the position he held. But the current ruling party, his own party doesn’t care.
• PM Modi talks about Hindu religion but doesn’t care about L.K. Advani, who was his guru.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi was welcomed by Congress state president Ashok Chavan, Congress general secretary Mohan Prakash, former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavhan, opposition leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, senior Congress leader Manikrao Thakre, Mumbai Congress president Sanjay Nirupam and Gurudas Kamat at the Mumbai airport.

Rahul Gandhi has arrived in the financial capital to attend the hearing in a defamation suit filed by Rajesh Kunte, a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) member in Bhiwandi- 50km from Mumbai. In 2014, Kunte had filed the suit, when Gandhi in his speech said: “RSS people fired bullets at Mahatma Gandhi”.

In 2016, Rahul Gandhi decided to face the trial rather than apologising. Police security has been beefed up at the Bhiwandi court.

After the court hearing, Gandhi will be visiting the rally organised by Congress party workers at Goregaon’s Bombay Exhibition Centre Booth. Here, he will be guiding the party workers.
