Mumbai - Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray during his break up alliance speech had raised the issue of the State government’s circular on the removal of religious photographs from government offices. Defending the State government, education minister and BJP leader Vinod Tawde given a strong rebuttal to the Sena allegation.
After Tawde’s counter attack, Sena leaders are also posing queries on this issue. Shiv Sena spokesperson Manisha Kayande said that the chief minister has informed the delegation that the concerned circular was issued by an officer in the Rural Development Ministry and assured to withdraw this circular. But this issue has given a weapon to the opponents of the State government.
