Dadar – Applicants who passed the Railway exams and are not being given the promised jobs by the Western Railway have approached MNS president Raj Thackeray for help. In 2012, 2,500 students passed the exam which was conducted by WR. Following the exam, they were given one year apprenticeship training but were not given jobs thereafter. On the other hand, Central Railway recruited students after the exam and the subsequent training. “There are 400 applicants in Mumbai and the state government is fooling us in the name of recruiting," complained Dipen Badne, one of the applicants. Meanwhile, Raj Thackeray has assured them of action against the authorities concerned.
