Mumbai – Many of the voters did not get to vote on 21 February due to the wrong voters list. Shiv Sena now is planning to go to Mumbai High Court against the missing names. Shiv Sena believes that almost 12 lakh voters did not get to vote. Many of these voters gave their vote during assembly elections but did not get to vote in BMC elections.

Shiv Sena has started a toll free number 1800228595 and have urged voters to call on this number whose names were missing from the list. “If voters would have got a chance to vote, then the situation would have been different,” said Uddhav Thackeray, Shiv Sena chief while interacting with newly elected corporators.
