On Monday morning, another Shiv Sena MLA from Uddhav Thackeray's camp, Santosh Bangar was seen with Shinde and his faction. When Bangar supported the trust vote, he was hooted at by the MLAs from the Opposition benches.
The trust vote was proposed by BJP's Sudhir Mungantiwar and Shiv Sena's Bharat Gogawale. Following the voice vote on the proposal of the trust vote, the opposition demanded a division of votes.
The speaker permitted this demand and began the division of votes and asked members to stand for the headcount. After the trust vote transpired, many Shiv Sena MLAs such as Aaditya Thackeray left the House.
Further, Maharashtra Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis in the house voiced that when he said he will return, many mocked him. But today he has returned and brought Eknath Shinde with him. He added that earlier the BJP Shiv Sena alliance had attained mandate but the BJP was taken away from the majority. But with Shinde, they have yet again made an alliance with Shiv Sena, Fadnavis uttered.
Additionally, he articulated that if the party that had made him the CM told him to sit at home, he would have done so. Fadnavis then elaborated that while people are taunting that it's an ED government, it indeed is the case since it is the government of Eknath Devendra.
