On Wednesday, the NCW woman Wing organized a movement outside the chief minister's office inside the ministry. Women also threw onions outside the office and raised slogans against Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. More so, the women handed over onions to the employees working in the just so they could hand them over to the chief minister.
This movement was led by NCP's maiden chairperson Aditi Nalawade. On this occasion, Aditi Nalawade said that the farmers are unable to get the desired returns for their product due to which many farmers have destroyed their onion crops. She stated that the government should take concrete steps in this regard. Moreover, a lot of women from the movement were taken into custody by the police.
