In the aftermath of MNS Chief Raj Thackeray's remarks on Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav ThackerayShiv Sena Minister Aaditya Thackeray described MNS as "BJP's C Team" and added that "it is good to see that the time-pass gang got some work due to BJP", stated reports. 

While interacting with a regional news channel on Sunday, April 3, young Thackeray elaborated on how their Hindutva is to fulfil their promises as well as serve the people. He reportedly uttered that he used to call the MNS a time-pass gang since it used to do time-pass, however, now he feels good because it good some work owing to the BJP since it is its C team.

The minister further remarked that the AIMIM is BJP's B team, while the MNS is BJP's C team. He believes that there is no need to pay attention to the MNS considering it has not been able to explain its stance for the past many years.

The environment and tourism minister is of the opinion that the state should pay attention that issues do not catapult in Maharashtra and that dialogue continues. He went on to hit out at the BJP too for utilizing such parties for its agenda in order to gain power. Thackeray thinks that BJP's politics is that wherever it wants to power it uses two parties against one another. 

Rebutting Thackeray's comments, MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande commented that Shiv Sena is NCP's dull team. Deshpande was quoted in narratives elucidating how the way Sena is partaking in corruption and its "Veerappan" gang functions in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), it needs to give an account of its money to the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Lashing out at Aaditya, he added that the young leader should focus on providing an account to the ED and shouldn't speak on them.
