A meeting in the presence of women and child development minister Pankaj Munde this Friday in the Mantralaya with the different community members of transgenders. Present in the meeting were Vineeta Singhal, the secretary and the community chief of the eunuchs, Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi.
The meeting was conducted so as to form different development centres for the eunuch women and children. Pankaj Munde stated that the state will run certain proposed development projects for the eunuch women in an active manner. A demand by the eunuch women community has been made that now these programs should be handled by the Women and Child Development Ministry.
Moreover, the members of the members of the eunuch committee have requested to actively conduct development programs. For this, the state will now run different five-year schemes.
