Bharatiya Janta Party completed three years of their rule and it seems that the ruling party is yet to bring transparency and make India corruption free. BJP came to power on October 31, 2014, blaming Congress and NCP for corruption but they themselves could not get away with their tainted ministers.

These are some ministers who were accused of scams

Pankaja Munde - Daughter of late minister Gopinath Munde, Maharashtra Women and Child Welfare Minister Pankaja Munde became the talk of the town due to her infamous chikki scam which was worth INR 206 crore. It was June 2015, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson, Sachin Sawant went to Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) with a complaint against Munde for messing up with contracts for the supply of items like Chikki (a traditional Indian sweet). However, Munde was given a clean chit by the ACB and opposition party alleged that CM shielded her.

Vinod Tawde – Education minister Tawde claimed that he obtained BE Electronics degree in 1984 from Dnyaneshwar University, Pune. However, the opposition parties, including the leader of opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, demanded Tawde's resignation.

Prakash Mehta - State housing minister Prakash Mehta was accused of re-allotting a Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) plot in Pantnagar (Ghatkopar) to a tainted developer who failed to deliver the requisite tenements.

In 2006, Mehta had handed over 18,902 sq feet land to Nirmal Holding Company which was then taken aback due to irregularities. However, opposition parties alleged that Mehta gave the contract to the same and had asked for his resignation.

Eknath Khadse - Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse was accused of buying a 3-acre plot in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Bhosari. Apparently, the owner had given his land to the MIDC 25 years ago. Though Khadse refuted the allegations, Pune builder Hemant Gavande alleged that Khadse bought the land worth INR 40 crores for INR 3 crore and carried out the transaction in the name of Khadse’s wife Mandakini and son-in-law Girish Chaudhary.

Currently, the Bombay High Court is hearing a petition filed by activist Hemant Gavande asking for a dismissal of the judicial commission and wants an FIR to be registered against Khadse.

Girish Mahajan - Water resources minister Girish Mahajan came in the soup when the Congress party accused him of not mentioning the ownership of the land in his election affidavits in 2004, 2009 and 2014. It was alleged that he bought the land at Manpur in Bhusawal taluka of Jalgaon district in 2001 at a price of INR 20 lakh per acre. Following the accusation, he was asked to resign from his post.

Girish Bapat – The Sharad Pawar-led NCP had blamed food and civil supplies minister Girish Bapat for carrying out INR 2,000 crore scam of spiralling prices of pulses. NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik too alleged that tur dal worth INR 2,000 crore was seized from leading traders and was handed over to them again, was a blatant violation of rules and empower the government to sell it at reasonable prices through the public distribution system.

Ravindra Waikar - Not only BJP minister but Shiv Sena MLA and (MoS, Housing) Ravindra Waikar was also accused.
Mumbai Congress chief Sanjay Nirupam accused Waikar of grabbing 20 acres land worth INR 20 crore in Aarey Colony area, Mumbai. He also alleged that Waikar made an additional construction in the state-run gymnasium which was located adjacent to the grabbed land. He demanded that an FIR should be registered and the government should take back the land.
