On Friday, June 24, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray called a meeting with the district leaders present in Sena Bhavan, situated in Dadar, reported the news agency ANI. 

According to the report, Thackeray attended the meeting via video conferencing. During this, he allegedly elaborated on how he is not hungry for power. Further, he is claimed to have added that those who would say that they will die but not leave Shiv Sena have run away today. 

Based on the account, the Shiv Sena head voiced that the rebel MLAs wish to break the party. In the meeting, he supposedly declared that if they have the courage they should be amongst the people without uttering Balasaheb Thackeray and Shiv Sena's names.

Further speaking about his health conditions he elucidated the pain he had in his neck and head which resulted in him not being able to work properly. He enunciated that even while he could not open his eyes, he did not care. 

The narrative quoted him saying, "Shivaji Maharaj was defeated but people were always with him". Thackeray additionally articulated that Eknath Shinde's son is an MP from the party who he has done everything for. The CM proclaimed that the department he had was also given to Shinde, but the latter makes many allegations against him. He says he did everything for Shinde.

While Thackeray attended the meeting virtually, his son, Aaditya Thackeray was present at Sena Bhavan when the meeting transpired.
