Amid the political speculations regarding Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray being future Maharashtra Chief Minister, CM Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday asserted that he will “come back” to undertake the position.

While speaking at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) state executive committee meeting at NESCO grounds at Goregaon, CM Fadnavis also confirmed that the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections will be contested with the alliance.

I am not just BJP chief minister, I am also the chief minister of Shiv Sena along with other allies as it is a coalition government. Don’t remain under any illusion, this election will be contested as an alliance,” Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis asserted.

CM Fadnavis further said that Shiv Sena and BJP will contest the election together and will come to power again. The seat-sharing will be discussed soon and “it will be the people who will decide the chief minister,” CM added.

While blaming the media for projecting division of power within the alliance, CM Fadnavis said that the media telecasts 24 seven and they need something to run.
