In order to achieve the objective of defeating the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, it was decided to start preparations immediately in an informal discussion among the INDIA alliance leaders on Thursday night. As the government convened the session of Parliament from September 18, it was speculated that it was an attempt to divert attention from the All India meeting or that there was a plan to hold early elections.

The two-day meeting of the India Alliance started in the evening. The first informal meeting was held in the presence of leaders of 28 parties.

While the meeting of the INDIA alliance was starting, it was announced on behalf of the government that a five-day session of Parliament was organised from September 18. There was a feeling that this was an attempt to divert attention from the meeting of the opposition. It was also discussed that Modi's plan is to hold the Lok Sabha elections early. The leaders were of the opinion that Modi can resort to shock tactics.

A leader present at the meeting expressed the opinion that the success of the Mumbai meeting was that the leaders of 28 parties came together without any arrogance. There was some confusion regarding the presence of all parties during Patna or Bangalore meetings. Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad Yadav has advised that all parties should keep their egos away to defeat the BJP.

Agenda of today's meeting

The meeting started at 10:00 am on Friday. After that the emblem of the INDIA alliance will be unveiled (if all leaders agree). After that the actual meeting will start. The meeting will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. It will discuss the upcoming election strategy, seat allocation formula, coordination committee, whether to appoint a coordinator, etc. After the meeting, a press conference of all the leaders will be held at 3:30 pm. After that, the third meeting of the India Alliance will end. Chief Minister Stalin has suggested holding the upcoming meeting in Chennai.

Coordinating Committee today

There was a lot of discussion about the India front. All the leaders agreed that the next steps should be taken now. A coordination committee will be formed in a formal meeting tomorrow. Sharad Pawar made it clear that not all parties will get a place in the coordination committee.

Some leaders proposed that coordination committees should be formed at the state level. Seat allocation will not be discussed in the Mumbai meeting. But the seat allotment formula will be fixed. Also, whether seats should be allocated at the state level will be discussed in tomorrow's meeting.

'INDIA' cannot decide PM candidate - Fadnavis

Opposition's 'India Aghadi' has no development program other than removing Modi. Five parties in the alliance have staked claim for the post of prime minister and they are unable to decide their candidate for the post of prime minister. They are just passing the time by making slogans and placards. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis criticised on Thursday that this alliance will not have any effect. The leading opposition parties have come together not to think of the country, but to save their political clouts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the country on the path of development and progress due to his achievements, leadership and work. Sacrificed everything for the country and implemented the poor welfare program. Modi has a place in the minds of the common people. Therefore, even if 100 parties come together, they cannot remove Modi from the minds of the people, Fadnavis explained.
