Taking a dig at Raj Thackeray, Republican Party of India (RPI)(A) President Ramdas Athawale said that the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief is copying Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray while stating that Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is the true heir of Balasaheb.

Raj Thackeray is campaigning across Maharashtra for the assembly elections which are scheduled on October 21 while asking the people to make MNS a strong opposition in the state.

Earlier in his election rally, Thackeray urged the people to vote for all MNS candidates who will take up their issues in the legislature.

Reacting to this, Athawale taunted Thackeray saying that even though the MNS chief has learned the art of speaking like his uncle (Bal Thackeray) but his party will not get votes.

In Maharashtra, there is an alliance wave and NDA alliance will win,” claimed Athawale.

Athawale also attacked Prakash Ambedkar saying that they are deliberately trying to eliminate the RPI (A) through Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. MNS has fielded more than 100 candidates for the upcoming assembly elections.
