On Friday, January 29, Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde directed that the recruitment process should start as soon as the Finance Department’s restrictions of 1441 Class 3 and 1584 Class D posts in the Social Justice Department are lifted. He also assured that the problems of the employees of the social welfare department would be solved with priority.

The employees of the social welfare department across the state had warned to stop writing for various demands. Taking immediate notice of this agitation, Dhananjay Munde called a meeting of various employees’ unions and officials and took a positive decision regarding their demands. Instructed to take immediate action on several demands. After that, the employees have postponed their planned strike.

Shyam Tagde, Principal Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Dr. Prashant Naranware, union representatives and department officials were also present at the meeting.

The issue of non-filling of contract posts in government hostels should be reviewed and a proposal should be submitted, immediate action should be taken to implement the 7th pay commission for teachers and non-teaching staff in government residential schools.

The proposal should be submitted immediately by proposing the diagram as prescribed for the Scheduled Castes sub-plan as decided under the Tribal sub-plan. There was a positive discussion in the meeting regarding the recruitment of contract public relations officers, legal officers and computer operators.

State President Shantaram Shinde, Action Committee Chairman Rajendra Deore, Vice Chairman Rajendra Bhujade, Treasurer Rajendra Kamble, Secretary Sujit Bhambure, Secretary Bharat Raut, Executive Member Sarvashri Bhushan Shelke, Vitthal Rao Dhasade, Prafulla Gohte, Dr. Triveni Lohar, Government Residential School Representative Vishnu Darade, Shivraj Gaikwad were present.
