The election for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Thane Municipal Corporation was held under the chairmanship of the presiding officer and District Collector Dr. Shrikrishnanath Panchal.
In this uncontested election, Shiv Sena’s Sharmila Pimpalolkar was elected as the Mayor of Thane city, and BJP’s Krishna Dadu Patil was elected as the Deputy Mayor. This official announcement was made by the presiding officer Dr. Shrikrishnanath Panchal.
After the announcement of the election results, Thane Municipal Corporation Commissioner Saurabh Rao felicitated and welcomed the newly elected Mayor Sharmila Pimpalolkar and Deputy Mayor Krishna Patil by presenting them with Tulsi saplings.
