Shiv Sena chief and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, on Sunday, October 25, 2020, slammed the opposition for targeting Aaditya Thackeray over Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case without naming him. He shared his thoughts while speaking at the Dussehra meet held at Savarkar Smarak in Dadar.

This was Uddhav Thackeray's first Dussehra rally after taking the post of Chief Minister, and the Shiv Sena chief, in his speech, slammed the BJP and spoke about Hindutva and the people talking about political connections with Bollywood.

Addressing the same, he said that an actor dies by suicide and immediately becomes the son of Bihar. If there was any foul play, then the police in Mumbai and Maharashtra would have found the same in the investigation. But one fails to understand how without any evidence, people here started throwing allegations at the 'son of Maharashtra' and eventually started slandering him.

He also raised voice against the people who blamed the Maharashtra government, the state, the Thackeray family, and Aaditya, in a bad way. However, now that the case is cleared, he asked the same people to remain quiet and not use such behaviour ever.

Sharing strong thoughts he said that one can't bend them, because their hands are clean and they are not sinful people. He added, 'The more attention you pay to your party, the less attention you pay to the country! Today, the country is in turmoil.'
