The biggest news has come out in Maharashtra politics. Hearing in the MLA disqualification case will begin from September 14. Notices have been sent to both factions of Shiv Sena for this hearing. Notices have been issued to 40 MLAs of Shiv Sena Shinde Group and 14 MLAs of Thackeray Group. The MLAs will have to present all the evidence in the hearing. Besides, arguments will also have to be given to avoid disqualification action. The hearing of the case will be held in the Central Hall of the Legislature.


Due to the rebellion of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, there was a split in the Shiv Sena party. Eknath Shinde joined BJP with more than 40 MLAs and formed the government in the state. Due to this the Mahavikas Aghadi government collapsed and went out of power. Uddhav Thackeray had to step down from the post of Chief Minister. After this, power struggle started in Maharashtra. After this, Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal was demanded to take disqualification action against the 16 MLAs who had initially come along with Chief Minister Shinde.

However, as soon as power was transferred, the Shinde faction demanded that disqualification action be taken against the MLAs of the Thackeray faction. After this, the Supreme Court asked Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar to take a decision in this regard, while the hearing in this matter will start from September 14.

6000 page written reply of Shinde group in MLA disqualification case

A few days ago, Shinde faction had submitted a 6000 page written reply to the notice sent by the Assembly Speaker in the MLA disqualification case. The special thing is that in this reply, Shinde faction has revealed the reasons on the basis of which the registration of Shiv Sena party was done. Now after confirming this answer, the Assembly Speaker has called all these MLAs for hearing.
